The Heart of the Community Grant

The good work of small, community-run programs reflects the heart of my faith. Actively serving our neighbors and reflecting the compassion central to Christian values. They are the hands that lift up the vulnerable and the hearts that care for our community.

To help these programs continue their vital work, they need a swift and adaptable injection of funds to supplement events and programs. Providing them with agile financial support allows them to meet immediate needs and respond to new opportunities. This support ensures their ability to serve remains strong and ready to respond, furthering their mission in our community.

  • The City will offer a grant to locally funded and operated non-profits to support the execution of their events and programs.

  • Non-profits can apply for this grant once a month, with a maximum annual award of $5,000.

  • This grant is designed to be flexible and broadly applicable, empowering non-profits to address the specific needs of our communities.

  • Grant recipients are required to provide a brief, narrative-based report upon the conclusion of their event or program. This report should outline how the grant funds were used and the impact they had on the community.
